On 11 August, Friday, I had the opportunity to start the CH 750 aircraft in the USM Hangar. The CH 750 aircraft is an aircraft that uses 4 cylinders. The initial process involves, the set up of tools needed, such as the battery, RON 97 oil, fire extinguisher, funnel, beaker, and spanner.
The RON 97 oil is poured into the tank to power the engine which would aid in the combustion of fuel.
Then, the wire terminals are attached to the battery terminal. This is done by loosening the screw using a spanner, attaching the wire, and finally tightening the screw.
Safety plays an important role, hence the fire extinguisher is placed in case of fire
After taking the safety measures, the CH 750 engine was started. The engine is started for 2 minutes, and then 5-minute cooling periods. A total of 4 sets of starting was done.
